Does it work on Square's free plan?Yes. That's who it's built for. No plan upgrade needed.
Where does the money go?Straight to your Square account on your normal payout schedule. We never hold it.
Does it charge no-shows automatically?Never. You mark the no-show and confirm with a code from your phone. Refund or waive anytime.
Do I need Square?Yes, for now. A free Square account is enough. Stripe is next: tell us on your BETA application if you use it.
How much is the deposit? Can I set it?You set it per service, as a percent or a flat amount. It's at least $10 and never more than the price. Services under $10 are paid in full up front.
Can I charge a late-cancel fee?Yes. Pick your cancel window. Cancels inside it pay up to half the price, and the deposit counts toward it.
Can clients reschedule?Yes, once, outside your cancel window. Same service and price. Their deposit and card move with the booking.
Does it cost my clients anything extra?No. They pay your deposit and your price. We add nothing.
Do I pay extra card fees?No. You pay Square's normal card fees and nothing on top.
Will bookings show in my calendar?Yes. With Square Appointments, bookings show up in your Square calendar. Coming in the BETA: connect Google Calendar to see when you're busy as you set up a booking, and get each booking as a calendar invite. Clients can add their booking to their own calendar too.
Do clients need an app?No. They tap your link, pay and agree to your policy. That's it.
Can clients pay the rest after?Yes. Show a QR code or send a pay link. Apple Pay, Google Pay or card.
Can I take tips?Yes. You set the tip buttons. Tips land in your account with the balance.
What if a client's card declines?Send them a pay link for a fresh card. If they don't pay, we retry once after 24 hours. Never twice.
What if a client disputes a fee?Download one PDF: the policy they agreed to, when they agreed, and every amount. Ready for Square.
What if a client books on my Square page?Deposits only cover bookings through your For Keeps link. Swap your bio link and you're set.
How long is setup?About ten minutes. Connect Square, your services come over, set your policy, share your link.
What happens to client info?It's used only to run your bookings. Never sold, never shared, never marketed to.
Is it only for beauty?No. It's for anyone who takes appointments: nail techs, stylists, barbers, tattoo artists, lash artists, massage therapists and more.
Can I use it with a team?Not yet. It's built for solo pros with one Square account.
